Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data Wallorix B.V. collects through this website, why, who it is shared with and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written under Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Who is responsible

The controller for the processing described here is Wallorix B.V., Frederik van Eedenplaats 221, 2902 VE Capelle aan den IJssel, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42064793. For any question about your personal data, write to info@wallorix.com.

We have not appointed a data protection officer: the scale of our processing does not require one under Article 37 GDPR.

What we collect, and why

This website has no accounts and no database of visitors. We only receive personal data when you choose to send one of the forms, and what you send is delivered to us as an e-mail.

We use this only to answer you, to send the samples or documents you asked for, and to deal with the enquiry itself. We do not use it for marketing, we do not build profiles from it, and no decision about you is made by automated means.

The legal ground

Handling your request is a step taken at your own request before entering into a contract, which is the ground in Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where a form asks you to tick a box before sending, your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR is recorded as well, and you may withdraw it at any time by writing to us; withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before you withdrew.

Giving us this data is voluntary. Without it we cannot send samples or documents, or reply to you.

Who else processes it

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else's purposes. To run the website and deliver the e-mails we use the following service providers, which process data on our instructions:

Some of these providers are established outside the European Economic Area or may process data outside it. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the appropriate safeguards required by Chapter V GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. We can tell you which applies to a given provider on request.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so, for example to a competent authority.

How long we keep it

Your message stays in our mailbox for as long as we need it to handle the enquiry and to answer follow-up questions about it. If the enquiry leads to an order or another business relationship, the related records fall under the statutory retention obligations that apply to us, which in the Netherlands are generally seven years for business and tax records. When neither applies any more, the data is deleted.

What this site stores on your device

This website sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind, and it embeds nothing from social networks.

Your browser stores a single entry locally, which records that you closed the notice shown at the bottom of the page, so that it is not shown again. It contains nothing about you, it is never sent to us or to anyone else, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.

The one external resource the site loads is the Archivo typeface, served from Google Fonts. Your IP address is visible to that service when the font is fetched.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, to erase it, to restrict what we do with it, or to provide it in a portable form. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and you may withdraw a consent you have given.

Write to info@wallorix.com and we will answer within one month, as the GDPR requires. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, so that we do not disclose someone else's data.

Complaints

If you believe we are handling your personal data unlawfully, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority for the Netherlands is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, Postbus 93374, 2509 AJ Den Haag, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. You may also complain to the authority in the country where you live or work.
